nice to meet you!

I'm Irene, your newborn, maternity and family photographer in Houston TX

Houston newborn photographer

Being a wife and a mother of three wonderful kids, who always keep me inspired, I feel how important it is in this fast spin of life to take a moment and enjoy it right then and there, because it will never repeat again. Memories fade but photographs keep them alive. Looking at the pictures years after they were taken, you will feel again butterflies in your belly, when your baby first kicked you inside, you will smell that sweet milk odor coming from your newborn baby, you will feel the touch of these warm small hands of your children, or a soft hug of your husband...

Life goes too fast, don't let it escape from you, let the photographer capture priceless moments of your family life!
And it doesn't matter if kids misbehave, or newborn baby doesn't want to cooperate, or you feel not your 100%, this is all natural. But what matters is that we are creating your family legacy, the memories that will live forever.
My name is Irene, I'm a photographer, and today my focus is on YOU...

If you are still here, I would love to share some of facts from my life as well as my accomplishments and goals.

Born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine, a beautiful city on the Black Sea, I moved here to the USA in 2017. I met my husband, who grew up in Tomball and was working overseas at that time, and our love story then began. Here we are now, raising our 3 incredible children in Tomball, and occasionally visiting my native city Odessa.

It took me some time to come to my biggest passion- photography. I studied at 2 colleges in Ukraine and have a masters degree in linguistics and bachelors in clinical psychology. Occasionally I was taking time to photograph my friends, nature, animals, and I truly enjoyed that. My father was a big photography enthusiast and I remember his old film camera, black and white shots, and how excited I was holding my breath in that dark room while we were developing the negatives and seeing the images coming to live on that white paper.

Almost 20 years went by since my father passed away and you know what, I am still looking through these black and white photos, and they bring up memories that seem to fade.

Time flies, and I especially realized that when I had my  baby, my rainbow baby, after I had a miscarriage. I was taking so many photos of my son, and so happy I did, because he was changing so fast, and I wanted to capture all his tiny features. That was the beginning of my specialization in newborn photography. I took a course of Professional photography in New York Institute of Photography, got an extensive education in newborn posing and safety from the leaders of the industry, attended several hands-on in person workshops, joined Professional Photographers of America and continue to perfect and improve my skill to serve you best!

Since my photography journey started I met so many amazing families, that trusted me with their little ones,  that let me capture precious milestones in their family story. That is what I am so grateful for and cherish so much in my job, being the part of their life, seeing them grow, their first smiles, first steps, how cute and smart they all become, and then  they come back with their newborn sisters and brothers, seeing the love and care these families share. Being a part of this is the greatest gift I am given!
